"Order of the Oar"

If you'd like more information on assisting us in helping to defray some of the cost of equipping the boats please fill in the form and we'll get back to you with details.

For your generous assistance, we will welcome you to the “Order of the Oar” whereby your name will be inscribed on one or two of the 11ft oars and on a "plaque" which at this time is planned to be one of the oars. This Commemorative Oar will be kept in a suitable location for posterity in the Shelburne Historic District. 
We invite you to visit us and have the opportunity to have your picture taken with your oar in one of the longboats. 
If circumstances permit we also hope that you may even get a chance to use "your" oar .
